SALISBURY — A 22-year-old woman from New York was arrested for DUI in Salisbury on Sunday.
Authorities say they were notified of an intoxicated driver on Lake Dunmore Road at around 9:00 p.m.
Police say they located the vehicle parked at the Silver Lake Trailhead and identified the driver as Kendra Richards, of Whitehall, NY.
While speaking with Richards, police say they detected indicators of impairment.
She was screened, placed under arrest, and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, she was released to a sober party with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
