FAIRFIELD, VT — Troopers from the St. Albans barracks conducted a traffic stop on South Road at 1:54 a.m. July 7 for a motor vehicle violation.
The driver was identified as Travis Sweeney, 41, of Fairfax.
Indicators of impairment were detected while speaking with Sweeney.
Sweeney was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to the St. Albans barracks for processing.
He was issued a criminal citation to appear in Franklin County court on July 28 at 8 a.m.
