NORTH WILDWOOD, NJ — Officers responded Sunday to the 300 block of JFK Boulevard for a report of a home invasion.
Two individuals forcibly entered an occupied motel unit by kicking in the door and assaulted occupants inside.
The incident stemmed from an earlier dispute between neighboring units.
Joseph Lyon, 40, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, was charged with home invasion burglary, a crime of the first degree, criminal mischief and simple assault.
Megan Soley, 47, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, was charged with home invasion burglary, a crime of the first degree.
During a search of Soley, she was found in possession of Adderall and Diazepam.
She was additionally charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Lyon and Soley were placed on a warrant as per bail reform guidelines and transported to the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
They are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
