WEBSTER, MA — A 63-year-old man was arrested after allegedly urinating on a sidewalk in front of children at a dog park.
Webster Police officers responded to the High Street dog park at approximately 8:09 p.m. Wednesday for a report of an intoxicated man who urinated on the sidewalk in front of children.
Officers Melissa Bak and Katrina Mrzyglod located the man walking across the street upon arrival.
Officer Francheska Cedeno spoke with the caller to gather information about the incident.
Police learned that John Potasky was at the dog park on High Street when he was publicly consuming alcohol and causing a disturbance with another unidentified man.
Potasky walked over to School Street, publicly exposed his genitals and began urinating on the sidewalk in front of multiple young children, according to police.
Officer Cedeno placed Potasky under arrest.
Officers located numerous containers of consumed alcohol on the sidewalk as well as a pool of liquid believed to be urine.
Potasky, of Webster, was charged with open and gross lewdness, disorderly conduct and a town bylaw violation for open container of alcohol.
Police said Potasky was too intoxicated to be photographed during the arrest.
