Man arrested on terroristic threats charge in Verona

VERONA, PA — A man was arrested Thursday following a road rage incident that began on 2nd Street and ended at a residence on Vogels Lane.

Police responded to the incident at 4:50 p.m. after receiving a report of a confrontation involving verbal threats and a firearm.

The suspect followed the victim from 2nd Street to the victim’s home on Vogels Lane, where he made additional threats before leaving the area, according to police.

Officers located the suspect a short time later and took him into custody.

Police determined the suspect was intoxicated during the incident.

He was charged with terroristic threats, DUI and disorderly conduct.

The suspect was transported to the Allegheny County Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.
