FENTON, NY — New York State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred on Hunt Hill Road on July 2, 2026.
Troopers from the Binghamton barracks responded to the scene at approximately 7:10 a.m.
The preliminary investigation indicates a 2012 Toyota Rav4 was traveling north on Hunt Hill Road when the operator made a left turn into a driveway.
A 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling south on Hunt Hill Road when the two vehicles collided.
Following the impact, the motorcycle became engulfed in flames.
The operator of the motorcycle did not survive.
The operator of the Rav4 did not report any injuries.
The roadway was closed during the investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing.
