Woman arrested on harassment charges in South Glens Falls

SOUTH GLENS FALLS, NY — A Lake George woman faces felony and misdemeanor charges following a harassment complaint Monday evening.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint at 7:08 p.m. on Harrison Avenue in the village of South Glens Falls.

Kiersten M. Hayes, 27, of Lake George, was arrested and charged with aggravated family offense, a class E felony, and criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Hayes is accused of committing a specified offense under the statute having previously been convicted of a specified offense within the immediately preceding five years.

She was also charged with violating an order of protection by contacting the protected person.

Hayes was arraigned before the Honorable Jeffrey B. McCabe in Moreau Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
