GREENFIELD, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash Saturday at 12:56 p.m. on Wilton Road.
Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Warren E. Falk Jr., 26, of Moreau for DWI (unclassified misdemeanor).
Falk is accused of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition.
He was also cited for failing to obey a traffic control device, failing to drive his vehicle as nearly as practicable entirely within a single lane, failing to obey the sign, signal or marking of official traffic-control devices with respect to lane usage and speed not reasonable and prudent (infractions).
The crash occurred approximately 575 yards northeast of Braim Road.
Falk’s vehicle – a 2024 Dodge pickup – reportedly left the roadway into a culvert, struck the embankment of a driveway, became airborne and landed in another culvert before striking a tree head on.
The vehicle came to rest on its side and Falk needed to be extracted from it by the Greenfield Fire Department.
Falk was transported to Saratoga Hospital by ambulance for evaluation and treatment of apparently non-life-threatening injuries.
He was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Greenfield Town Court.
