LYNDON, VT — A man was arrested for trespassing after police found him inside a residence he had been removed from the previous night.
On June 20, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Lyndonville Police went to 16 Brookside Lane to ensure the property was secure and uninhabited.
The previous night, police had found and arrested Wyatt Gilman, 26, of Lyndon, for trespassing at the property.
When officers returned to the residence, Gilman was found to be back inside.
A Lyndonville patrol officer, with assistance from the Vermont State Police, entered the residence and took Gilman into custody.
Gilman was processed at the Lyndonville Police Department and subsequently lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury for lack of $500 bail imposed by the court.
He is scheduled to appear in court on June 22, 2026.
