COEYMANS, NY — State Police assigned to the Trooper G Community Stabilization Unit, in partnership with the Trooper F Community Stabilization Unit, arrested four people on drug charges June 17, 2026.
Eliezer J. Diaz Santiago, 41, of Albany, New York, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, 1st, a class A felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony.
Deborah Rodriguez Agosto, 37, of Albany, New York, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, 1st, a class A felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony.
Juan L. Duran Andino, 36, of Schenectady, New York, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, 1st, a class A felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor, obstructing governmental administration, 2nd, a class A misdemeanor, and vehicle and traffic law violations.
Sully Diaz Tossas, 38, of Albany, New York, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, 1st, a class A felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, 7th, a class A misdemeanor.
At about 9:41 a.m., troopers stopped a vehicle after it was observed nearly causing a collision on Interstate 87 Thruway in Coeymans for vehicle and traffic law violations.
The driver was identified as Duran Andino, and the passengers as Diaz Santiago, Rodriguez Agosto, and Diaz Tossas.
During the investigation with the assistance of State Police K9 “Anson,” more than five pounds of a substance that later field-tested positive for containing fentanyl was discovered in the vehicle.
Duran Andino resisted arrest before being taken into custody.
The passengers were taken into custody without incident.
Duran Andino, Diaz Santiago, Rodriguez Agosto, and Diaz Tossas were transported to Troop T, SP Albany for processing where Diaz Tossas was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
They were then arraigned at the Coeymans Town Court, where they were remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility.
