Traffic stop leads to drug charge in Moretown

MORETOWN, VT — Vermont State Police and Morristown Police conducted a traffic stop on Route 100 on June 10, 2026, at approximately 7:50 p.m.

An investigation revealed the driver was in possession of a controlled substance.

David Dise, 19, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.

Dise was released on a citation to appear at Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
