BROADALBIN, NY — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company was dispatched to a reported structure fire on County Highway 126 in the Town of Broadalbin at 5:50 p.m. Thursday, June 11.
The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was also dispatched for automatic mutual aid.
Police and Lake Valley EMS were also dispatched.
The Mayfield Fire Department was asked to stand by at its station.
Upon arrival, a Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander advised that there was “nothing showing.”
Perth was then put on standby at its station.
The incident was first reported as black smoke coming from the chimney of the residence.
