Two arrested in separate incidents in Cranston, Pawtucket

LINCOLN, RI — Rhode Island State Police arrested two individuals in separate incidents on charges ranging from reckless driving to driving under the influence.

At 4:10 p.m., troopers arrested Muhammad Baig, 40, of Providence, for reckless driving.

The arrest was the result of a road rage incident on Route 10 South in Cranston.

Baig was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.

He was released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.

At 11:15 p.m., troopers arrested Disaree Suarez, 24, of Central Falls, on multiple charges.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in Pawtucket.

Suarez faces charges including driving under the influence of liquor, second offense; reckless driving; eluding a law enforcement officer with a motor vehicle in a high-speed pursuit; resisting arrest; obstructing an officer in execution of duty; disorderly conduct; vandalism; and driving with a suspended license, fourth and subsequent offense.

She also faces three Providence Superior Court bench warrants for failure to appear on domestic violence charges originating from the Pawtucket Police Department, Central Falls Police Department and State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.

Additionally, Suarez faces two arrest warrants on charges of violation of a court order and vandalism, originating from the Central Falls and Pawtucket police departments.

Suarez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and held overnight pending arraignment at Sixth Division District Court, where she will be presented as a bail violator.
