WESTBROOK, ME — A retired detective from the Westbrook Police Department has received the 2025 Criminal Investigations Award from the Maine Police Department.
Detective Brady Coulombe was honored for his work on an extensive investigation into a daycare business and one of its employees as part of a multi-jurisdictional sex crime investigation.
Coulombe utilized forensic interviewing skills and techniques during the investigation.
Working collaboratively with other agencies, Coulombe and other investigators brought charges against the suspect and ensured the safety of all children at the daycare.
The investigation was completed prior to Coulombe’s retirement from the department.
