SUTTON, VT — Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks arrested Lucas Perry, 35, transient, on an active warrant on US Route 5 in Sutton at about 5:38 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said troopers were dispatched to a report of an intoxicated person.
After speaking with the caller, troopers determined no criminal violations had occurred, police said.
Police said the person of interest was identified as Perry and an investigation showed he had an active arrest warrant for DUI #2.
Troopers made contact with Perry and took him into custody without incident, police said.
He was transported to the Northeast Correctional Complex.
