DELHI, NY — The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Utica man on a bench warrant issued by Delaware County Court.
Michael Salamey, 40, of Utica, was taken into custody at approximately 2 p.m. on May 7, 2026, according to Sheriff Craig S. DuMond.
The bench warrant for Salamey’s arrest was issued by Delaware County Court on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2025.
Deputies were notified by the Herkimer County Sheriff’s Office that they had Salamey in custody.
Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Herkimer County Sheriff’s Office where Salamey was arrested on the warrant.
Salamey was transported to the Delaware County Correctional Facility where he was held pending arraignment at Delaware County Court.
