DELHI, NY — A Johnson City man was arrested on a warrant stemming from a 2024 harassment investigation.

Sean Ruddick, 46, of Johnson City, was taken into custody May 4, 2026, according to Delaware County Sheriff Craig DuMond.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a harassment complaint in the Town of Walton on April 16, 2024.

During the investigation, deputies determined Ruddick had engaged in conduct that alarmed or annoyed another person and served no legitimate purpose, according to the sheriff’s office.

Investigators also found Ruddick sent private images to a third party without consent from the original sender.

Deputies submitted documentation to the Town of Walton Court on April 17, 2024, requesting an arrest warrant for Ruddick.

The court later granted the warrant.

The City of Binghamton Police Department located and detained Ruddick on May 4, 2026, and notified the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.

Ruddick was charged with one count of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image, a class A misdemeanor, and two counts of harassment in the second degree, a violation.

He was processed and turned over to the Delaware County Correctional Facility to await centralized arraignment.
