LAKE KATRINE, NY — A Kingston man was arrested on a felony stalking charge following a domestic dispute in the Eddyville area.
Members of the Ulster Police Department responded to a residence on May 18, 2026, for a report of a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, officers learned that Davonte L. Jones, 29, of Kingston, was attempting to strike a pregnant female with a broom handle.
Jones was placed in custody and transported to police headquarters.
Further investigation revealed that over the course of several months, Jones engaged in a continuous course of conduct that resulted in physical injury to the victim.
He was subsequently charged with stalking in the first degree, a class D felony.
Jones was arraigned in the Town of Ulster Court and remanded to Ulster County Jail.
