OCEAN CITY, NJ — Rescue personnel continue an intensive search for a missing swimmer as of 12:30 p.m. Monday.
The missing swimmer is a 20-year-old man.
Members of the Ocean City Fire Department and Ocean City Police Department are conducting the search at 10th Street Beach.
The New Jersey State Police are providing additional assets for the search.
The swimmer has not been located and the search remains active.
Police are requesting the public avoid the area of 10th Street and the beach to allow rescue personnel to continue coordinating rescue efforts.
