Three injured in deer collision in Milo

MILO, NY — Three people were injured when their vehicle struck a deer on State Route 54 on May 17.

First responders were called to the area of State Route 54 near Plaisted Road at approximately 7:16 p.m. for a one-car motor vehicle accident with injuries.

An investigation revealed that Timothy Laws, 28, of North Chili, was traveling northbound when the vehicle struck a deer that entered the roadway from the west side.

All three occupants sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Laws and passenger William Gonzalez, 33, of North Chili, were transported to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for neck pain.

Passenger Allison Laws, 26, of Geneva, was checked over on scene.

Deputies S. Walker and M. Aini responded to the scene.

Penn Yan Fire and Penn Yan Ambulance also responded.
