MILFORD, MA — A 19-year-old man faces multiple charges after allegedly fleeing the scene of a single-car crash on May 14.
The Milford Public Safety Communications Center received multiple calls reporting a collision into a telephone pole at approximately 10:47 p.m.
Officers arrived to find a gray Hyundai Elantra with heavy front-end damage occupied by three individuals, with one passenger exhibiting head and face injuries.
A witness reported a fourth occupant had fled the vehicle on foot.
While Milford Fire Department and Coastal ambulance treated the injured passenger, members of the Milford Police K-9 Unit tracked the fourth occupant to a residence on Prospect Street.
Luis Guaman Tenezaca, 19, of Milford, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor or .08%, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and a person under 21 in possession of liquor.
