NEWFANE, NY — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential structure fire on May 16, 2026.
Dispatchers received a report of flames showing from a second-story window at a home on Coomer Road at approximately 7:41 p.m.
Sheriff’s deputies confirmed the residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
Multiple fire companies responded and brought the fire under control.
No injuries were reported.
The Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit is investigating the cause of the fire.
