LOCKPORT, NY — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office responded to a structure fire on May 16, 2026.
Dispatchers received a call at 6:46 p.m. reporting a house fire at 5323 Lower Mountain Road in the town of Lockport.
Sheriff’s deputies arrived and confirmed the house was fully engulfed in flames.
Fire companies from Wrights Corners, Cambria, South Lockport, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station and Miller Hose responded and extinguished the fire.
The vacant residence is listed as a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit are investigating the cause of the fire.
