LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A 23-year-old woman from Camden, New Jersey, was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on May 14, 2026.
Police stopped a vehicle at Route 332 and Stony Hill Road at 10:34 a.m. for violations.
Further investigation led to the arrest of the female passenger for possession of psilocybin, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was taken into police custody.
In other incidents, loss prevention at McCaffrey’s Food Market in the 600 block of Heacock Road reported at 2:22 p.m. on May 14, 2026, that an unknown person removed two plants from outside the store without paying.
Police are investigating a credit card fraud case reported at 9:45 a.m. on May 13, 2026, in the 300 block of Cobbler Court.
The victim reported being approached by two unknown males in a pickup truck in the BJ’s parking lot in Falls Township who claimed the victim’s vehicle bumper was damaged and offered to fix it.
After agreeing, the victim gave them two credit cards to charge, which the men claimed declined, and the victim then paid cash.
The victim was later contacted by their bank about two attempted charges totaling $1,500.
When checking their other bank, there were $9,985 worth of pending charges.
A resident in the 2300 block of Lynnbrooke Drive reported at 12:01 p.m. on May 13, 2026, that an unknown person attempted to open an AAA and Ross credit card in their name.
Police are investigating the theft of a package valued at $50,000 reported at 1:40 p.m. on May 13, 2026, in the 300 block of Dunhill Way.
A fraud case was reported at 9:09 a.m. on May 12, 2026, in the 2000 block of Farmview Drive.
The victim reported receiving a suspicious pop-up on their computer claiming to be from “Microsoft Windows Defense” and was advised to call a phone number.
A representative stated the victim’s computer was malfunctioning and they needed to pay a penalty fee to avoid being taken into custody.
The victim was instructed to withdraw $29,800 and provide it to a “special agent” who arrived at their residence.
A resident in the unit block of Del Rio Drive reported at 2:20 p.m. on May 12, 2026, that an unknown person purchased two iPads using their Sam’s Club and Wells Fargo accounts for a total loss of $962.29.
A 49-year-old man from Philadelphia was arrested at 10:46 p.m. on May 12, 2026, at Washington Crossing Road and Stoopville Road.
Police responded to check the well-being of a subject, and a records check revealed he was wanted by the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office for simple assault.
The store manager at McCaffrey’s Food Market in the 600 block of Heacock Road reported at 3:40 p.m. on May 11, 2026, that an unknown male entered the store on May 10, 2026, and removed $65.70 worth of merchandise without paying.
An employee at CVS in the 500 block of West Trenton Avenue reported at 11 a.m. on May 10, 2026, that an unknown male selected several Mother’s Day balloons and cards, went through self-checkout and only rang up $4 worth of items.
A 45-year-old woman from Lower Makefield Township was arrested for criminal trespass at 12:49 p.m. on May 10, 2026.
Police responded to McCaffrey’s Food Market in the 600 block of Heacock Road for a report of an unwanted subject who was previously trespassed from the store and made contact with her at her home.
A 35-year-old woman from Morrisville was stopped by police on patrol at 4:56 p.m. on May 9, 2026, at Heacock Road and Heritage Oak Drive.
Further investigation led to the discovery of a firearm, which the driver did not have a permit for.
