CHAMBERSBURG, PA — Police are investigating a forgery incident at a business on Grant Street.
Officers responded to the 400 block of Grant Street on May 11, 2026, after a business owner reported that a man used a fraudulent check to pay for merchandise.
The business owner told police an older Black male came into the store and used the fraudulent check before leaving.
The man left the store in a 2012 gold Buick LaCrosse with another male occupant in the vehicle.
Police said the individuals shown in photos released by the department may have information relevant to the ongoing investigation.
The individuals are considered people of interest but are not necessarily suspects at this time.
