House fire reported in Wesleyville

WESLEYVILLE, PA — Officers discovered a house fire in the 2800 block of East 30th Street just after 8 a.m. today.

Patrolman Maille and Chief Buzanowski were on routine patrol when they found the fire, according to the Wesleyville Police Department.

The officers immediately notified emergency responders and attempted to rescue two dogs believed to be inside the residence while awaiting the arrival of fire personnel.

Officers remained on scene to assist multiple fire agencies with traffic and scene management and provided care to the dogs rescued from the home.
