CLIFTON PARK, NY — A woman was arrested on a DWI charge following a single-vehicle crash Monday night.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a personal injury motor vehicle crash at 9:51 p.m. on Waite Road.
Jacqueline A. Kawola, 57, of Ballston Lake, is accused of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition.
She was also cited for moving from lane unsafely and speed not reasonable and prudent.
Kawola had allegedly been traveling southeast on Waite Road when she exited the roadway and struck a utility pole causing downed wires.
The vehicle proceeded to overturn and came to rest on its side on an earth embankment.
She was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in the Clifton Park Town Court and transported to Albany Medical Center by Clifton Park-Halfmoon EMS for evaluation.
