CORINTH, NY — A Corinth man was arrested following a disturbance call on Palmer Avenue on May 6.
Angelo J. Zeoli, 28, of Corinth, was charged with strangulation in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, and assault in the 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call at 1:41 p.m.
Zeoli is accused of applying pressure to the throat of another person with intent to impede their normal breathing and blood circulation and of causing physical injury to that person in the process.
He was arraigned before the Honorable Lane Schermerhorn in the Corinth Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in that court.
The victim was treated on scene by Jessup’s Landing EMS.
