HARRISBURG, PA — Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a shooting that left a victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Harrisburg Police responded to the 200 block of Yale Street on Tuesday for a report of a shooting.
Officers located an adult male victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound upon arrival.
The victim was provided medical attention, and an investigation was immediately initiated.
During the course of the investigation, Alejandro Arroyo-Vargas, 51, of Pennsylvania, was identified as the shooter.
Arroyo-Vargas is currently being sought for criminal attempt homicide and various firearms offenses.
The charges include one count of criminal attempt homicide, one count of person not to possess firearms, and one count of firearms not to be carried without a license.
A warrant was issued on May 10.
