NORTH ADAMS, MA — A 48-year-old North Adams man has been charged with murder after police say he reported killing a family member.
David Louis Boucher called police at approximately 11:49 a.m. Monday to report he had killed a family member at 256 Walnut St., according to the North Adams Police Department.
Officers arrived at the residence and found one adult male deceased inside.
Boucher was taken into custody and charged with one count of murder.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning in North Adams District Court.
Police say there is no danger to the public.
The North Adams Police Department and the Berkshire District Attorney’s State Police Detective Unit are investigating the case.
