NAZARETH, PA — The Nazareth Borough Police Department arrested Carl Anthony Brown on May 11.
Brown, 35, of Pennsylvania, was wanted on charges of burglary, aggravated assault, criminal trespass, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief.
On Dec. 23, at approximately 12:01 a.m., patrol officers from the Nazareth Borough Police Department were dispatched to a residence on East North Street in the Borough of Nazareth in response to a reported domestic incident.
Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and conducted an investigation.
It was determined that the suspect, identified as the victim’s former boyfriend, had unlawfully entered the residence and assaulted the victim.
As a result of the assault, the victim sustained serious injuries and required medical treatment.
Members of the Nazareth Borough Police Department Criminal Investigations Division continued the investigation and subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect through on-call Magisterial District Judge Susan Hutnik.
An arrest warrant was issued Dec. 23 by Magisterial District Judge John Capobianco.
