GREECE, NY — Officers arrested a Rochester teen after a license plate reader detected a stolen vehicle traveling on West Ridge Road on May 8, 2026.
Police received the alert at approximately 6:35 p.m. regarding a reported stolen 2013 blue Hyundai Elantra.
Patrol units located the vehicle in a parking lot at 2980 W. Ridge Rd.
Officers took the driver, Treneir Nunez, 18, of Rochester, into custody without incident.
Nunez was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree and unauthorized use of a vehicle in the third degree.
He was processed at the Greece Police Headquarters and transported to the Monroe County Jail for arraignment in CAP Court.
