SCOTRUN, PA — Police have issued a warrant for a 26-year-old woman accused of leaving two young children unattended at a water park.
Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to Great Wolf Lodge at approximately 7:58 p.m. April 12, 2026, for a report of two children under the age of 10 in the water park alone.
Officers made contact with the mother, Tykea Pighte of New York, New York, who was in the parking lot in her vehicle while her children were in the water park alone.
Pighte was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
