Woman arrested on forgery charge in Ulster

ULSTER, NY — A Marlboro woman was arrested April 23 for possession of a forged instrument, aggravated unlicensed operation and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Alexus A. Deslandes, 22, was observed by a patrol officer operating a 2007 Dodge Nitro on Boices Lane with a temporary paper New Jersey registration.

An investigation determined the registration had expired and should have appeared on a 2026 Tesla Model Y.

A traffic stop confirmed the registration had been altered.

Deslandes was also found to be operating the vehicle while her driving privileges were suspended.

She was processed and released on an appearance ticket to appear in Town of Ulster Court at a later date.

ULSTER, NY — A Kingston man was arrested May 1 for criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Trevor V. Bicknell, 40, was stopped during a routine patrol for a vehicle and traffic violation.

The operator was found to have a suspended driver’s license.

Upon being taken into custody, Bicknell was found to be in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine.

He was processed and turned over to Ulster County Jail to await arraignment at Ulster County CAP Court.

ULSTER, NY — A Kingston man was arrested May 2 on an active bench warrant for petit larceny.

Robert F. Karbownik, 50, was located by the City of Kingston Police Department, who took him into custody and turned him over to the Ulster Police Department.

He was processed and turned over to Ulster County Jail to await arraignment in Ulster County CAP Court.

ULSTER, NY — A Kingston woman was arrested May 4 on an active bench warrant for trespass.

Shada S. Thompson, 22, was located by the City of Kingston Police Department and turned over to the Ulster Police Department.

She was processed and turned over to Ulster County Jail to await arraignment in Ulster County CAP Court.

ULSTER, NY — A Kingston woman was arrested May 8 on an active bench warrant for petit larceny, obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.

Diana C. Culver, 35, was located during a warrant check by officers of the Ulster Police Department and taken into custody without incident.

She was transported to the Ulster Police Department for processing and arraigned in Ulster County CAP Court and released to appear in Town of Ulster Court at a later date.
