LOWER SWATARA TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman faces simple assault and harassment charges following an alleged domestic incident on April 24, 2026.
Alyssa Ann Layton, 37, of Middletown, was arrested by Lower Swatara Township Police Department in connection with an incident in the 100 block of Ann Street.
Police said an argument between Layton and the victim led to the victim being locked out of the house.
Layton allegedly told police she struck the victim in the face, which was confirmed by the victim, according to authorities.
Layton was charged with one count of simple assault and one count of harassment under Act 10.
