BENSALEM, PA — A 19-year-old man accused of firing a gun inside a restaurant bathroom turned himself in to police Thursday.

Landon McMahon, of Yardley, surrendered at the Bensalem Township Police Department on May 7, 2026.

Police had responded to Asad’s Hot Chicken at 2568 Knights Road on April 27, 2026, for a report of a gunshot fired inside the bathroom.

Officers found a hole in the wall and bullet fragments on the floor.

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage from inside the restaurant and used township intersection cameras and License Plate Reader technology to identify McMahon as the suspect.

Police said McMahon fled the scene in a newer-model Infiniti sedan.

An arrest warrant was obtained charging McMahon with Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License, and other related offenses.

Middletown Police Department later attempted a traffic stop of McMahon while he was driving the Infiniti sedan, but he fled from police.

McMahon was arraigned by District Justice Joseph Falcone on the firearms charges in Bensalem and fleeing and eluding charges in Middletown Township.

He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $125,000 bail on the Bensalem charges and 10% of $75,000 bail on the Middletown charges.
