JERSEY SHORE, PA — A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged with multiple sexual offenses involving a 15-year-old female student.
Brian S. Witner was taken into custody on May 8 and is being held at Lycoming County Prison on $150,002 bail.
On December 4, the Lycoming Regional Police Department received a report of a sexual assault from school officials at the BLAST IU school.
The victim, a 15-year-old female student, disclosed that Witner had sexually assaulted her the previous night at a residence in Jersey Shore.
An investigation was launched, and a search warrant was executed at the Witner residence, where evidence was collected.
A forensic interview with the victim revealed that Witner had sexually assaulted her on December 3.
The victim reported that Witner had touched her inappropriately, performed oral sex on her, and engaged in sexual intercourse with her.
Lab results from the Pennsylvania State Police Laboratory confirmed DNA evidence linking Witner to the crime.
Witner has been charged with rape, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual assault, indecent assault, and corruption of minors.
Witner was arraigned on May 8 before Judge William Solomon.
