ALBANY, NY — Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Thursday evening in the area of Sherman Street and Lexington Avenue.
Officers responded around 6:20 p.m. to the 100 block of Lark Street near Spring Street for reports of an individual stabbed.
Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old male with a stab wound to his arm.
The victim was treated by the Albany Fire Department and emergency medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The stabbing incident is believed to have occurred in the area of Sherman Street and Lexington Avenue.
The victim and the suspect are known to each other.
