WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police arrested a man on retail theft charges at Walmart on May 3.
Warrington Township Police responded to the store at 299 Valley Gate Drive at approximately 12:34 p.m. for a report of a retail theft in progress.
Officers were alerted by store loss prevention to a suspect leaving the area in a white Ford pickup truck.
Police located the vehicle nearby and conducted a traffic stop in the Walmart parking lot.
The suspect, identified as Sean Thomas Beluch, 52, of Pennsylvania, was taken into custody without incident.
An investigation determined that Beluch had passed all points of sale with merchandise valued at $343.12 without payment.
Store surveillance footage and witness statements confirmed the incident.
Beluch was transported to police headquarters for processing.
At the time of his arrest, he was on house arrest through Bucks County Probation.
Probation authorities were notified, and a violation warrant was issued.
Beluch has seven prior convictions of retail theft, including a conviction of retail theft at this Walmart location on April 30, 2024.
Beluch was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.
He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
