MILFORD, MA — A local man was arrested Tuesday following a search warrant execution at a Franklin Street residence.
Hugo Ventura, 38, of Milford, was taken into custody at approximately 4:15 p.m. May 5 by members of the Milford Police Detective Bureau and Massachusetts State Police Cyber Crime Unit.
Ventura was charged with possession of child pornography.
“Crimes against children are among the most heinous in society,” said Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino.
“Those who engage in such nefarious acts will always be on our radar and our pursuit of them will be relentless.”
Ventura was released on $1,000 bail while awaiting arraignment.
