BOSTON, MA — A 17-year-old male was arrested following the execution of a search warrant that led to the recovery of a loaded firearm and drugs in Jamaica Plain on Monday morning.
Members of the District C-6 and E-13 Drug Control Units executed the search warrant at about 9:30 a.m. on May 4, 2026, in the area of Boylston Street.
Officers conducted a drug investigation of the suspect that led to the retention of a search warrant for the suspect’s person and his residence in Jamaica Plain.
Officers observed the suspect exit his residence and enter a rideshare vehicle where he was subsequently removed and taken into custody.
Officers proceeded to the suspect’s residence, where they recovered a Glock 23 .40 caliber firearm loaded with eighteen rounds of live ammunition and a high-capacity Glock magazine.
Officers also recovered two plastic bags containing approximately ten grams of Fentanyl, six plastic bags containing approximately seventeen grams of crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
The 17-year-old suspect, of Jamaica Plain, is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Improper Storage of a Large Capacity Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Trafficking Fentanyl, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs.
