BRIDGEWATER, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating after multiple juveniles were found intoxicated at a residence on Mountain Side Road on May 2.
Police received multiple complaints about loud music and underage drinking at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Troopers arrived and located multiple impaired juveniles at the scene.
Sara Vitagliano, 51, of Rutland City, was determined to have enabled the consumption of alcohol by minors, according to police.
Vitagliano was issued a criminal citation on scene and released.
While troopers were on scene, a vehicle operated by one of the partygoers left at a high rate of speed, nearly striking a Vermont State Trooper.
The vehicle is believed to be a silver or gray Subaru Forester with minor front-end damage.
Police believe the operator may have ties to the Rutland area.
Anyone with information regarding the owner or operator of the vehicle is asked to contact the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks.
