GLASSBORO, NJ — A traffic stop led to the arrest of a woman on multiple drug charges after a police K9 indicated the presence of narcotics in her vehicle.
Ptl. Powell conducted a motor vehicle stop on April 7, 2026 at approximately 1:27 p.m. and discovered the driver had a suspended driver’s license and active warrants, according to the Glassboro Police Department.
The driver was identified as Krystal Kirkland, 39, of Willingboro.
Through investigation, it was determined that a K9 was needed at the scene for a narcotics sniff of the vehicle.
West Deptford Officer Nicholas and his K9 arrived on scene and yielded a positive indication for the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 84 tablets of suspected MDMA/Ecstasy, three orange baggies of suspected crack cocaine, two pink containers of suspected cocaine, three glass pipes and other drug paraphernalia.
Kirkland was charged with possession of CDS-Ecstasy/MDMA, cocaine and crack cocaine (three counts), manufacturing/distributing CDS (Ecstasy/MDMA) over 0.5 ounces, possession/distribution within 500 feet of certain public property (South Delsea Drive Park) and use/possession with intent to use/possess drug paraphernalia.
She was lodged in the Salem County Jail.
