Three arrested on drug charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A narcotics investigation led to the execution of a search warrant and three arrests in the city.

Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department and Town of Ellicott Police Department executed the search warrant at 17 Norwood Ave.

Just prior to the search, investigators observed Tysean Mays leave the residence.

Mays was stopped a short distance from the residence by Jamestown Police Department.

Samantha Harley and Kody Scott were located inside the residence at the time of the search.

Investigators seized 67.0 grams of fentanyl, 27.6 grams of crack cocaine, 93.4 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material used for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $605.

All three subjects were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.

All subjects are to be arraigned in City of Jamestown Court.

Authorities are asking members of the community to call and report suspicious or narcotics-related activity within their neighborhoods.
