Man cited for operating vehicle without consent in Williamstown

WILLIAMSTOWN, VT — Troopers with the Berlin Barracks received a report of a recovered truck that had been taken from a residence in Williamstown on April 4, 2026, at approximately 10:15 a.m.

An investigation revealed Guy Miller, 20, a transient, had operated the truck without the consent of James Stone, 65, of Williamstown, the legal owner.

With the assistance of Berlin Police Department, Miller was located and issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court on June 4, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge of operating without owner’s consent.
