COLCHESTER, VT — Police have found a man dead in the Malletts Creek Wildlife Management Area.
Logan Buchanan of Colchester was found deceased at approximately 11:46 a.m. on May 2, 2026, according to Colchester Police Chief Peter Hull.
Buchanan had been reported missing on May 1, 2026.
He was last seen in Milton on April 30, 2026, at approximately 5 p.m.
His truck was located a short time later at the Malletts Creek Wildlife Management Area near the intersection of Roosevelt Highway and Coon Hill Road.
The cause of death has not yet been determined by the Vermont Medical Examiner.
Police said the death is not deemed to be suspicious.
The Colchester Police Department was assisted in the search by Colchester Technical Rescue, the Milton Police Department, Vermont State Police and Vermont Fish and Wildlife.
