SUNDERLAND, VT — A New York man was arrested on two active warrants Thursday afternoon.
Troopers were conducting an investigation on Sunderland Hill Road at 3 p.m. when they made contact with Garth Martel, 37, of Whitehall, New York.
Martel was detained, and troopers discovered he had two active in-state arrest warrants.
Martel was cited and released to appear in Vermont Superior Court Rutland Criminal Division on May 4 at 12:30 p.m.
