OLEAN, NY — A 35-year-old man was arrested on felony drug charges Thursday afternoon following the execution of a search warrant.
Kyle T. Margeson, of Olean, was taken into custody at 12:30 p.m. on the 100 block of South 1st Street.
He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor.
Police said the Street Crimes Unit had previously obtained a search warrant for Margeson.
Officers found him in possession of psilocybin mushrooms and drug paraphernalia when he was stopped, according to police.
The Street Crimes Unit was assisted by the Patrol Unit, the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
