Two sought in armed bank robbery in Roxbury

ROXBURY, MA — Boston police are seeking the public’s help identifying two men wanted in connection with an armed bank robbery Tuesday morning.

The robbery occurred at approximately 10:11 a.m. April 28 at Santander Bank, 2189 Washington St.

Two male suspects entered the bank and robbed it at gunpoint, according to police.

The first suspect is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build, wearing a light blue Nike Tech hoodie, black pants, blue gloves and a black face mask.

The second suspect is described as a male wearing a black Champion hoodie with white lettering, black pants, blue gloves and a black face mask.

The suspects fled on foot along Harrison Avenue toward the Orchard Park area.

Police said the suspects are believed to be associated with a blue Toyota RAV4 with Massachusetts registration 4MXN78, last seen on Blue Hill Avenue outbound in the Grove Hall area.

A firearm was brandished during the incident, and police are advising the public to use caution.
