DELHI, NY — An incarcerated woman was arrested on a felony charge after allegedly damaging property at the Delaware County Correctional Facility.
Deanna R. Eignor, 24, was charged with one count of criminal mischief in the third degree, a class E felony.
Correctional facility staff notified investigators with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division on April 7, 2026, that an incarcerated individual had caused damage to property within the facility.
The investigation revealed that Eignor caused damage to property valued at over $250 while she was incarcerated at the correctional facility.
Investigators arrested Eignor on April 21, 2026, at the conclusion of the investigation.
Eignor was arraigned on the charge at the Delaware County Centralized Arraignment Court.
She was remanded back to the custody of the correctional facility due to being held on previous charges.
